Goals and Vision

Due to the wide range and variety of scientific and specialized topics, urban planning issues are directly related to various issues of society, such as economic, social, cultural, environmental, physical, etc., which require minimum theoretical and operational knowledge. In this publication, strategic goals are very important as well as theoretical topics beside the urgent need for scientific and research studies. Therefore, "Urban Strategic Thought" journal tries to provide a clear and practical way for specialists by bringing these two categories together. The discussion of experts, the presentation of scientific and specialized achievements and their publication by UST can provide a completely reliable reference in the scientific community of our country.

 

UST’s main goal:

A- Deducing new approaches from modern and traditional urban planning thinking

B- The interaction of theoretical and practical perspectives within traditional and modern urban planning regarding sustainable development

C- Expressing scientific and research perspectives based on research projects and inclusive studies at internal and external levels in urban planning and design with biological trends, physical issues and urban and rural settlements

D- Expressing related challenges within mass and space design, as well as providing new and practical solutions in order to improve urban planning and designs

E- Publishing and reflecting the findings, fundamental and applied researches and creating a context for knowledge of scientific and research experiences with epistemological approaches in urban planning
