Urban Strategic Thought journal started working in order to document and strengthen the fields of knowledge of urban and regional planning, urban design, urban restoration, architecture and landscape architecture, transportation, urban environment, urban geography, urban sociology, urban economy and other related fields with a strategic approach in 2021/10/19 with license number D/209323/1 from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. The editor of this publication is Dr. Ali Soltani and the responsible director is Dr. Rahim Hashempour.

This publication publishes the results of scientific research by researchers in related fields in Farsi along with an English summary after judging in the Double-Blind way.

The strategic idea of urban planning is published in the form of bi-quarterly, with electronic open access, and its first issue was published in the year 2022. There is no charge for publishing articles.
